The River Rock Casino
Andrew paces back and forth in his suite of the casino's hotel as his mind is
racing about the threat that Antonio seemingly gave him the previous day. Antonio
had, once again, approached him and offered him another loan so he could continue
to play blackjack. Andrew, realizing that he couldn't even afford to pay back
the first loan that Anotnio gave him, rejected his offer for another loan. Antonio,
clearly, wasn't happy with this and told Andrew that the first payment on the
first loan was now due. When Andrew got worried about the payment, Antonio seemingly
threatened Trenyce, as he witnessed her at Andrew's suite the previous day. Andrew
doesn't know what he will do if Antonio actually hurts Trenyce but he realizes
that he has to do something to ensure that Trenyce isn't dragged into this mess
that he has created.
He looks over at his door when he hears a faint
knock and takes a deep breath as he wonders if it could be Antonio looking for
the payment. He slowly moves to the door and opens it, seeing Daisy standing on
the other side.
"Hey, it's been a few days since we spoke, how are
you?" Daisy asks as she moves into the suite and Andrew closes the door behind
her.
"I'm…alright," Andrew replies to her. "How are
you? I see you all the time looking like a million dollars around here."
Daisy nervously chuckles back to him as she knows that she has been working
for Antonio in an unconventional way; she has been selling her body for sex in-exchange
for money. She has been doing this for a few weeks now and it is the only thing
that she feels like helps her escape the pain she is going through as a result
of her abortion.
"A girl likes to dress up every now and then, what
can I say?"
"Is that all it is?" Andrew asks quickly.
"I know we both said that we were running from pain, but I'm beginning to
think that we are, or at least I am, in over my head."
"What
is it? What has happened?"
Andrew sighs back to her. "I can't
get into it, but Daisy, I know you're close to Antonio, but I think we should
start to distance ourselves from him. I…I can't explain it, I'm just worried."
"Hey," Daisy comes up to him and pulls him into a hug. "You're
okay, you're going to be fine. Whatever this is, I promise you it's not that bad,
okay?"
They slowly exit their embrace and Andrew looks into her
eyes. Before he knows what he's doing, he leans in and kisses Daisy on the lips
passionately. They part ways for a moment. "Thanks Daisy, I guess I needed
that," he whispers to her, as she is left reeling from the kiss that they
just shared.
The Pink Flamingo at the River Rock Casino
Downstairs of the casino in the restaurant, Dawn sits across from Cheresa and
picks up her coffee before she looks back at her fiancé.
"Did
you get any sleep last night after learning that the search for Tara was being
called off?" Dawn finally asks Cheresa, as she recalls how Simona advised
that the search for the woman that kidnapped Cheresa last year was being called
off due to no new leads. She was worried that the news might sent Cheresa backwards
as she struggled with PTSD after the kidnapping.
Cheresa sighs back to
her a little. "I didn't have the best night, if I'm honest with you,"
she tells Dawn. "Between learning Tara is still out there and will likely
never be caught and the fact that today is my mother's wedding day…it was
rough."
Dawn arches her eyebrow back to her. "I can tell that
you're set with Trenyce but you haven't really told me why. I don't want to pry,
but I am here to listen if you want to talk about it."
"Nah,
I don't really," Cheresa admits to her. "The fewer people that know
about this, the better."
"Well, alright," Dawn nervously
replies to her. "Does that mean that you're not going to the wedding today?"
"I don't think so…"
"These are your birth parents,"
Dawn reminds her quickly. "Think of all the time you spent wondering who
they are, where they were…and now you know, Cheresa. Don't let some misunderstanding
stop you from missing the day that will unite Chris and Trenyce forever. You might
live to regret it."
St. Joseph's Church
"I almost
can't believe this day has finally arrived," Andy beams over to Trenyce as
he helps his friend get ready for her wedding. After both Daisy and Cheresa decided
not to be her maid of honor, Trenyce asked her long time friend to be her best-person,
and Andy agreed, of course. "You and Chris have been through so much together."
Trenyce chuckles back to him. "That we have," she nods to him.
"I can't thank you enough for agreeing to stand up for me, Andy. I don't
know what I would do without you."
Andy smiles back to her. "You
don't have to thank me, you have been there for me when I was in the depths of
hell. I would do anything for you."
Trenyce gets tears in her eyes
as she thinks about all the times she and Andy have been there for each other,
good and bad. He gets up and pulls her into a hug. "You're pregnant, getting
married and full of emotion," he chuckles to her.
"I know,
I'm sorry…I'm just blessed."
"Come on," Andy tells
her with a giggle. "Let's get you into your dress. You have a man to marry!"
MW Investigations
Jeff opens the door to the investigation
firm and moves inside. He has plans to take Meggan to Chris and Trenyce's wedding,
so he hopes that she is ready to go so they aren't late. He moves to her office
and opens the door and then gasps at the sight in front of him.
"My
goodness you look beautiful," Jeff announces to his girlfriend.
Meggan turns to him and smiles. "You flatter me," she giggles back to
him ."You look pretty dashing in your tux yourself."
Jeff moves
up to her and kisses her passionately. "Is it wrong that I might want to
be late for the wedding now that I'm seeing you," he winks back to her.
"You're so bad," she wraps her arms around him.
"Can
you blame me for wanting you?"
Before she can respond, someone clears
their throat at the door. Jeff and Meggan turn and see Leah standing there.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt," an uneasy Leah tells them.
"I can come back…"
"You're here now," Jeff tells
his ex-wife. "And Meggan and I, we need to get going to Trenyce and Chris'
wedding."
"I forgot about that," Leah admits to them as
Meggan looks at her half-sister. "I was just hoping to get an update, of
some kind, on finding my son, our son."
"I was telling Jeff
that there isn't an update yet," Meggan admits to her. "But, I can follow
up with my father. We are dealing with Olly missing right now."
"I am sorry to hear that," Leah tells her. "But any news would
be great. I'm feeling like I'm losing hope and I need something, anything, to
grab on too."
The Sugarbowl
Max opens the door to
the coffeehouse and quickly moves up to the cashier to order a large coffee. He
has a million things to do at Roboto since Natasha gave him her blessing to proceed
with the new campaign that features Isabelle. He also mentioned to Natasha how
impressed he has been with Sophie's contributions at the office, since he knows
she had asked her mother for a position at the family company.
After
he grabs his coffee, he turns to leave when he sees Antonio moving into the Sugarbowl.
Max arches his eyebrow and quickly wonders how Isabelle's father feels about her
having feelings for Jacob. He knows that she recently ended their dating relationship
because of her feelings for Jacob.
"Mr. Moretti, how are you?"
Max says as he moves up to him. "I hope I'm not overstepping."
Antonio chuckles back to him. "Max Black, the man that has been seeing my
daughter. How are you?"
Max shrugs back to him. "Well, I've
been better. I don't know if you know, but Isabelle has put the brakes on us."
"I hadn't heard that," Antonio tells him. "I hope you didn't
do something to hurt her?"
"Not in the least," Max admits
to Antonio. "She has feelings for someone else. It sucks cause I was really
into her, you know?"
Antonio nods back to him as he recalls Isabelle
telling him about her feelings for Jacob. Still, he didn't realize she ended things
with Max as a result. "I thought you two made a good looking couple Max,
I am sorry to hear that."
Max nods to him. "Thanks, I mean…if
you could put in a good word for me, I'd appreciate that."
Antonio
chuckles back to him. "I'm not sure that will work but I'll see what I can
do."
"Thanks Mr. Morretti, I'd really appreciate it."
The Calimo Mansion
Natasha pulls a robe over her naked body
when she hears the door to her bedroom open. She looks over her shoulder and sees
Shane move into the room, only with a towel wrapped around his waist. She licks
her lips slightly at the sight of her ex-husband's toned chest.
"Have
a good shower?" she asks him casually as he looks over at her.
"I
did, yea," he chuckles back to her. "Having me stay here just supports
the idea that I am taking care of you while you're sick."
"It
was a good idea, wasn't it?" Natasha purses her lips together as she moves
to the bed and sits on the edge. "Why don't you come sit with me for a minute?"
"I'm still a bit damp?"
"I'm about to go shower myself?"
she giggles back to him. "I just want to tell you how much I appreciate everything
that you've done for me with this plan that I came up with."
"You
know that I would do anything for you… and Jacob, of course," Shane
tells her as he moves closer to her.
"I know you'd do anything for
me," Natasha replies to him. "I feel the same about you. We've always
been a good team, Shane."
"Yes, we have."
Natasha
slides off the bed and up to him, running her finger over his chest in the process.
"And, you're still sexy as ever," she purrs to him.
"What's
gotten into you?" he asks her as she starts kissing his neck.
"A
dying woman still has her needs," she says as she drops his towel to the
ground. "And you kissed me the other day, so I know you feel the same way."
"I do," he admits to her as their lips lock and they kiss passionately.
"I want you."
"Then have me," she says as she pulls
him towards the bed and he crawls on top of her, kissing her passionately the
entire time.
Roboto
Jacob paces back and forth in the
main office of Roboto as his mind recalls the previous evening when he went to
Cassie's and she had surprised him with a romantic dinner; she further stunned
him by asking him to marry her so they could be a family with Carter. Jacob, still
thinking about Natasha's dying request to be with Isabelle before she passes,
turned Cassie down. Of course, she was devastated and he left for the night, but
he knows that he is going to have to explain to her what happened.
"There
you are," Cassie announces as she opens the door to the office and moves
inside. "I think we have to talk, don't you?"
Jacob turns and
looks at the mother of his child. "Cassie, hi. I was expecting to see you
at some point today."
"After last night, do you think that
I could stay away? Here I had put together the setting of romantic evening and
I even proposed to you, and you turned me down flat. I think you owe me an explanation."
"You're right, I do," he gulps back to her. "And before you
say anything, you have to know that I have loved every minute of our time as a
family with Carter. If things were different, I would have accepted your proposal
last night." Cassie
arches her eyebrow back to him. "If things were different? How could they
be different, Jacob? Please, tell me, I will do anything."
"It's
not that simple," Jacob replies to her quickly. "It's about my mother."
Cassie feels the blood drain from her face. "Natasha? What does your
mother have to do this? And why is she interfering in our relationship when she's
dying?"
