The Young Mansion; Nicholas
& Clayton's Home
Clayton stands by the fireplace in the living
of the Young mansion as he rubs his hands together trying to warm up. While it
hasn't snowed yet in Twin Peaks, the cool autumn air definitely has a bite in
it. He turns around when he hears the front door open and Nicholas, soon, emerges
in the living room. "Good evening babe," Clayton smiles to his
husband. "How was your day?" "It was long," Nicholas
replies to him quickly. "And please, don't call me babe." Clayton
chuckles back to him. "We are married, Nicholas, in case you have forgotten."
"How could I forget?" Nicholas snaps back to him. "You never
let me forget." "Well, I know what could take you out of this
grumpy mood," Clayton moves closer to him. "Why don't we go upstairs
and I can make all your troubles go away?" "Gross," Nicholas
tells him. "I married you, Clayton, but I will not sleep with you. I am not
attracted to you the least." "Does this have anything to do
with your talk with Andy earlier?" Clayton asks him back, recalling how he
saw Andy and Nicholas talking to one another at the Sugarbowl earlier in the day.
He left before either of them could see him, but he thought that they looked rather
cozy. "Yea, that's right, I saw you two talking at the coffeehouse."
"It is a small town, we are bound to run into each other," Nicholas
says back to him. "And for the record, that was a pretty lousy thing that
you did; telling Andy to drink. You know he's been in recovery for years."
Clayton shrugs back to him. "I just want him to leave us alone. We are
married now. He has to accept that." "Whatever Clayton,"
Nicholas replies to him. "We are married, the least you can do now is try
to be a decent human being to others. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to have
a hot bath and call it a night. I'm exhausted." Nicholas moves past
his husband and moves to the staircase. While he walks up the stairs, he can't
help but wonder how he can get the upper hand on Clayton because he doesn't know
how much longer he will be able to stay married to that monster. The
Sugarbowl
Greg looks at his phone while he sees three small bubbles
on his screen indicating that Kim is responding to his message. He just messaged
her that Cheresa told him and Abby that she thought Traci, their maid, reminded
her of Tara, the woman that kidnapped her the year before. He doesn't know what
to make of that comment; he knows that they have had some awkward moments with
Traci before, but to him, she isn't anything like Tara. He can't help but wonder
if Dawn's accident is, somehow, clouding her judgement. He sees the new
message from Kim noting that she will be on guard when she is at the Lawson estate,
which makes Greg smile to himself. He then realizes that he needs to get back
to the hospital to do his rounds, so he stands up and is about to grab his coffee
when Robbie approaches his table. "Greg," Robbie announces to
him. "I heard about Dawn; any update on how she is doing?" "She's
in an induced coma until her body can rest and recovery," Greg replies to
him. "I can't say much more than that, you'd have to ask family."
"That's fair, I appreciate you telling me that much," Robbie nods
back to him. "With Dawn, Dominick Robertson and my sister all sick, it feels
like there is something in the air around here." "That's why
it's good you are married," Greg tells him. "And why it's good Kim and
I are engaged. Spreading love around will only help the world, you know?"
Robbie uneasily chuckles back to him. "Speaking of, do you and Kim have
any wedding plans? Set a date or anything?" "Not yet,"
Greg replies to him. "But we will, soon. Anyways, I must get going. I have
a shift at the hospital." As Greg leaves, Madeline turns around to
also leave the coffeehouse. She had been there to surprise her husband, but she
can't help but wonder why Robbie was asking about Greg's wedding plans to Kim.
Deep down, Madeline can't help but wonder if Robbie still has feelings for his
former wife, and that scares her because the last thing she wants is for her marriage
to be in jeopardy. The Lawson Estate; Greg, Kim & Cheresa's Home
Kim
looks at her phone and re-reads the message from Greg over and over again. She
is having a hard time believing that Cheresa thinks that Traci, the maid, reminds
her of Tara. Kim didn't spend as much time with Tara as Cheresa did, but the short
time she was also in the warehouse during the kidnapping, she thought that Tara
was a well-spoken woman, despite her criminal intentions. Still, if, somehow,
the maid had transformed herself into a new woman, it would make a lot of sense
as to why they have always thought Traci was acting odd and snooping around the
mansion, including recently when Cheresa caught the maid on Kim's phone. "Maybe
I should go to her room and see if I can find anything that would support this,"
Kim whispers to herself. "After all, Traci has looked around the mansion
her fair share of times. Maybe I should look and see what she is hiding."
Kim slowly stands up and takes a deep breath. "I'll just go into her
room, quickly look around and leave. She will never know that I was there, but
I could get the answers that we all want and need." Dominick's
Townhouse "You should have seen the look on their faces when
I told them that I was taking over as CEO," Abby chuckles to Ethan as she
pours two glasses of red wine from the bar in the living room of the house that
she shares with Dominick. She is over the moon with how things have turned out
since Dominick's stroke; she is still worried about her husband's health, of course,
but the fact that Ethan advised her that she has his power of attorney and personal
directive have made her a very powerful woman. So much so, that she told Dominick's
family that she is taking over as the head of the family and she took over as
CEO of Robertson Enterprises. "They were stunned, to say the least."
Ethan accepts the wine and chuckles back to his friend. "I am glad that
I was able to help you with the power of attorney," he tells her as he takes
a sip of the wine. "After everything that has happened, I thought you should
know what your rights are as Dominick's wife." "I really appreciate
it," Abby replies to him. "I know that we have had our, uh, attraction
and kisses, but you've never let that stop you from being a really good friend,
so thanks Ethan." Ethan licks his lips back to her. "Of course,
I'm happy to help. I keep telling you that." She chuckles back to
him. "That you have," she nods to him. "For the first time in months,
I actually feel like a sense of calmness, you know? I am in control of the situation
and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it." "I hate
to rain on your parade," he looks at her with worry. "But Tyler, Leah,
Paige, Robin
all of Dominick's family
they are powerful people too,
Abby." "What are you saying? I thought you said I had Dominick's
power of attorney and personal directive?" "You do," he
nods to her. "I am just warning you; if they aren't happy with what has happened,
they might try to fight you on it. Just make sure you are ready for anything that
they throw at you." Abby grins back to him. "Let them try,"
she winks to him. "I have the law on my side, and I have the best lawyer
a girl could ask for you," she says as he squeezes his leg, which causes
him to blush a little, as he is still very attracted to the woman sitting next
to him. Twin Peaks General Hospital "Robin? What are
you doing here? It's not Oscar, is it?" Antonio asks as he approaches the
woman that has his heart. He is at the hospital to make a donation in the name
of the casino, which he does for publicity, when he happened to see Robin in a
waiting room of the hospital. The first place his mind went was her newborn son;
he just hopes that everything is okay. "No, no," Robin waves
her hand as she looks back at the businessman. "It's my father; he had a
stroke and he's in a coma." "My God," Antonio gasps back
to her. "I am so sorry to hear that. If you need anything, anything at all,
you know that I am here for you." Robin feels her eyes swell with
water. "Thank you," she replies to him. "I really appreciate that
Antonio. It just feels
well, it just feels like everything is a mess right
now." "You will get through this," Antonio encourages her.
"You a strong woman; I mean, if you can give birth to a beautiful baby boy
in an elevator, you can handle anything." A single tear falls down
Robin's cheek as she chuckles back to him. "Thank you; I needed to laugh
more than you." "Where is Cory? I am surprised that he isn't
by your side in your time of need." Robin sighs back to him. "Well,
the truth is, Cory has to leave town for a few days. I believe he's leaving later
tonight." "What could be more important than you and your father?"
Antonio asks him, stunned that Cory is being so insensitive to Robin's needs right
now. "Hey, be nice," Robin replies to him. "It's his daughter;
she was expelled from boarding school and he is going to Switzerland to talk to
the headmaster. It is important as well." "I see, I'm sorry
if I overstepped," Antonio tells her, as he starts to think about how he
wanted to get rid of Cory so he could be with Robin. "I have some business
that I need to attend to at the casino, but how about I come by after with some
take out from the Pink Flamingo. If you're going to be here, the least I can do
is bring you some of your favorites?" "That would be nice,"
Robin nods back to him. "Alright, I won't be long," Antonio
winks back to her. "You stay strong." Antonio then leaves the
waiting and makes a beeline to the elevator. Once he is inside and the doors have
closed, he pulls out his cell phone and makes a call. "It's me," he
says. "I need you to do me a favor and find out how Cory Calvin is getting
to Switzerland tonight; it's important, so make this your priority."
The Tower's, The Penthouse; Cory's Home
"Alright, I think
I'm ready to head to the airport, Cory announces as he carries a duffle bag down
the stairs of the penthouse and sees Sophie in the living room pacing back and
forth. He knows that she has been on edge most of the day since she learned that
she wouldn't be able to go back to boarding school because the school has finished
their internal investigation on her scam to try to get a scholarship. "Are
you sure that you should do this alone?" Sophie turns and faces her father.
"This was my mistake, maybe if I was there, I could talk to the school and
plead my case
" "I don't think that's the best idea Soph,"
Cory admits to her. "I will go, talk to the headmaster, get the rest of your
stuff and come home. I'll only be gone a couple of days." Sophie
feels her eyes swell with water. "And what about my friends? Am I just never
supposed to see them again?" "No, of course not," Cory
tells her. "You can face time them and email
you know, we have the technology
for you to keep in touch." "It's not the same." "I
know," Cory pulls her into a hug. "But like I said, all you can do is
try to move on from this the best way you know how, okay? Like, continue to focus
on your internship at Roboto. From what I hear, you're doing a great job there."
"It just sucks that you and Mom keep telling me to take ownership of
the situation, but I can't do this," Sophie pouts to him. "It's like,
how can I take ownership if I can't even go to plead my case?" "Just
remember what I said, okay?" "Ugh, fine," Sophie groans
back to him. "Have a good trip, Daddy. I'll see you when you get back."
"Yes, you certainly will," he kisses her forehead before he moves
back to the door and picks up his duffle bag. "I love you Sophie."
The Calimo Mansion
"The coast is clear, we are alone,"
Natasha tells Shane as he moves into her bedroom of the Calimo mansion. He closes
the door behind himself knowing that he must talk openly with her; they are still
pretending that Natasha is dying from a rare blood disease because they used it
as a way for Natasha to tell Jacob that her dying wish is for him to be with Isabelle,
not Cassie. Of course, it has worked, and Jacob is now engaged to Isabelle. The
previous day, however, Madeline informed them that she saw Cassie coming out of
Shane's office at the hospital. "What did Cassie say when you asked her about
being in your office? Let me guess, she had an excuse?" Shane chuckles
back to her. "Of course, she did," he tells her. "She said that
she was looking for me and when I wasn't there, she left." "I
don't buy that for a second," Natasha spits back to him. "That woman
was looking for something, the question is what?" Shane shrugs back
to her. "I went through my office and nothing appeared to be missing, that's
the good news. But Cassie is desperate because she hates that Jacob is engaged
to another woman." "Do you think she suspects something is going
on with me and my illness?" Natasha asks him quickly. "I don't
know how she would have pieced that together," Shane says back to her. "The
best thing that we can do, is encourage Jacob to marry sooner rather than later.
Because if she does suspect something, if Jacob is married, it won't matter."
"You're right," Natasha nods back to him. "We have to make
sure that Jacob and Isabelle are married as soon as possible because then this
will all be behind us. If I can recover before Cassie suspects anything, that
would be the best thing for us all." The Cascade Apartments; Cassie,
Max & Carter's Home
Cassie paces back and forth in the living room
of the small apartment that she shares with her two sons. Her face is glued to
her IPhone screen, looking at the images she took of Natasha's medical file when
she was in Shane's office at the hospital. She still hasn't figured out why Shane
hasn't documented the fact that Natasha has this rare blood disease that is killing
her; she feels like she is on the verge of figuring it out, but she hasn't been
able too yet. "Come on Cassie," she tells herself. "Think
about this logically. Why wouldn't Shane have put this in her file?"
She pauses and looks around the room for a moment. "Maybe he's been too
busy treating her? No, that doesn't make sense either because if he wasn't available,
another doctor would have access to her file and records. So, what is the reason
that you haven't mentioned this Shane?" "Ugh, I have to figure
this out!" she scolds herself. "I have to put this puzzle together;
my entire future with Jacob is depending on it and I will not lose him. I refuse
to let him marry Isabelle!" Next on One Day at a Time -
