Sugarbowl "Are you feeling any better now that you've let out
some of those tears?" Cassie asks Sophie as they continue to sit next to
each other in the back booth of the coffeehouse, while the winter rainstorm continues
outside. Cassie had arrived at the coffeehouse earlier hoping to grab a hot drink
but saw Sophie, who was visibly upset. When Cassie comforted her, Sophie admitted
that Cory died from a plane crash that he was in. Sophie dries her eyes
before she looks back at Cassie. "I do feel a little better, thanks Cassie.
Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulder." "Oh hunny,"
Cassie replies to her. "Of course, I can't imagine what you're going through
right now. First finding out that your Mom is going to pass away from this blood
disease and now this plane crash; it is a lot for anyone to go through."
"Ugh, don't even remind me of my Mom," Sophie groans back to her.
"I don't want her to die but she's not my favorite person right now."
Cassie arches her eyebrow back to her. "Is this because of what you saw
between her and Shane?" "It doesn't make sense, does it?"
Sophie replies to her. "It's just very weird. Anyways, thanks again for letting
me cry on your shoulder. It's late, so I should get back to the mansion before
my family puts out an APB on me!" Cassie chuckles back to her. "Alright,
but if you ever need someone to talk too, I am here for you, okay? I can be your
shoulder anytime." | |

The Young Estate; Boston; Melissa
& Phil's Home
"Did you hear what I just said?" Nicholas
asks his mother as they continue to stand facing each other in the living room
of Melissa's lavish home in Boston. Nicholas, after seeing his mother's name on
Clayton's phone, flew to Boston to find out what their connection is all about.
Nicholas is still determined to get the upper hand on Clayton, so he can end their
shame of a marriage. "If you don't tell me, exactly, what your connection
to Clayton is, I will walk out that door and never come back." "Oh
Nicholas," Melissa moves to the bar and pours herself a brandy. "You've
always been so dramatic. For the last time, there is no connection between your
husband and I!" "I don't believe you," Nicholas yells back
at her. "I saw your name in Clayton's list of recent phone calls! I know
that you two had a phone call just a few days before I was supposed to marry Andy!"
"Clayton simply wanted to say hello," Melissa turns to him. "We
have been close for some time, you know that." "Stop lying to
me," Nicholas says back to her. "Or I am leaving and you will never
see me again." "Darling," Melissa begins to say back to
him. "No, that's it, I'm done," Nicholas cuts her off, fed-up
with her excuses. "I'm leaving. Goodbye mother." Nicholas turns
to leave as Melissa takes a sip of her drink. She doesn't think that Nicholas
will actually turn away from her, but when she hears the front door open, she
puts her drink down. "Nicholas!" she calls out as she rushes
to the foyer and sees her son turn around from the door. "Wait, don't go.
If you really want to know, I'll tell you but, please, don't walk out on me."
The Robertson House; Leah & Paige's Home
"I came as
soon as I got the call," Jeff tells Leah as he moves into the living room
of the house that he shared with his former wife for years when they were married.
Jeff had been with Meggan, actually in the middle of proposing to her, when Leah
called and revealed that Cory had passed away from a plane crash. "How are
you holding up?" Leah looks back at him with tears in her eyes. "I
I
don't know," she reveals to him. "The man that asked me to marry him
a few short months ago is dead. I feel numb." "I am so sorry,"
Jeff replies to her quickly. "I know how close you and Cory were, even after
you agreed to go your separate ways." "He just wanted to support
me, you know? He just wanted me to be happy, even if that wasn't as us being together."
"What can I do for you?" Jeff asks as another thunderbolt claps
outside in the storm. "How can I help?" "Honestly?"
Leah looks back at him as he nods to her. "Anything, Leah. You know
that." "Could you just, maybe, hold me?" she asks him as
their eyes lock. "I just need to feel some arms around me, Jeff. Nothing
more, because I know you're with Meggan, but please, hold me?" The
Calimo Mansion
"You haven't said anything about my idea,"
Isabelle notes to Jacob, who is looking out the French doors in the living room
of the Calimo mansion as he watches the rainstorm unfold outside. Isabelle moves
up to her fiancé and knows that she offered that they postpone their wedding
because of Cory's untimely death. The last thing that Isabelle wants is for their
wedding to overshadow the mourning that the family is now going through. "What
do you think about postponing our wedding?" Jacob forces a smile
on his face as he turns and looks at Isabelle while another bolt of lightning
flashes across the sky. "I really think your offer is admirable," he
tells her. "It is one of the reasons why I want to marry you is because you
are so incredibly thoughtful." "But? You still want to get married?"
"I do," Jacob nods back to her. "Look, with my Mom not doing
so well and Cory passing suddenly, my family is going through a very difficult
time right now." "Right," Isabelle nods back to him. "That's
why I thought postponing would be a good idea." "I get that,"
Jacob replies to her. "But I think a wedding, our wedding, would be a way
to give hope and promise to our family. It could lift all our spirits up. And,
it would mean that my Mom gets to see us married, which is her wish."
"Okay, you've twisted my arm," Isabelle giggles back to him. "We
won't postpone, we will get married as soon as possible." ***
Meanwhile, upstairs in Natasha's bedroom, she slowly hangs up her cell phone
as she lays in her large bed in the bedroom of the Calimo mansion when she sees
Sophie move into the room. "Sorry, did I interrupt something?"
Sophie asks her mother as she moves closer to the bed. "No,"
Natasha replies to her quickly. "I was just making some calls about the memorial
service for you Dad. I didn't think we should wait." "I see."
"How are you? I want you to know that I understand what you're going
through," Natasha tells her daughter. "When your grandfather died, I
was beside myself for a long time." "This is all my fault,"
Sophie replies to her quickly. "Dad dying is my fault." "Sophie,
please don't say that! This isn't your fault!" "If I hadn't
been kicked out of school, Daddy wouldn't have had to go to Switzerland, and he
wouldn't have been that on that plane!" she cries to her mother. "Oh
baby, I wish you didn't feel that way," Natasha replies to her. "This
isn't your fault." "You can say that as much as you want,"
Sophie lets a tear fall down her cheek. "But that's how I feel. I feel like
I am the one that killed my father and there's nothing that anyone can say or
do that will make me change my mind about that." The Lawson Estate;
Greg, Kim & Cheresa's Home "I don't know what you're asking
of me," Kim admits to Traci as they continue to stand in the maid's bedroom
while another boom of thunder echoes in the room. Kim was caught by Traci as she
was snooping in her bedroom of the Lawson Estate; Kim had found a wig in the closet
that reminded her of Tara's hair. This was off the heels of Cheresa admitting
that Traci reminded her of the woman that kidnapped her. Now, Traci has asked
Kim what she believes is going on here. "What do you mean, what is going
on here?" Tara, who is still posing as Traci, chuckles back to her.
"I think it's pretty clear, don't you? I asked you if you have figured this
out yet." Kim looks back at her in confusion as another lightning
strike flashes across the sky. "What do you want me to say, Traci? I told
you, I came in here by accident. It was only when I found that wig that I realized
that I was in the wrong room. And, it's none of my business, but I know that women
of color often wear wigs, so I am just assuming that it is another one of your
units." Tara chuckles back to her as she glares at her. "You
really don't know the truth yet? Or are you just pretending to not know the truth
so you can get away?" "I don't like where this conversation
is going," Kim admits to her. "I'm going to leave here, and you can
enjoy the rest of your night." Tara blocks Kim from leaving and glares
at her. "Not so fast, you're not going anywhere, Kim." The
Black House; Helen & Dawn's Home
"Dale, please," Helen
pleads with her fiancé as another bolt of thunder cracks outside in the
storm. "You're starting to scare me. I am going to go to the hospital to
visit my daughter. I
I won't tell the police that you're here. If you want
to escape, you can." Dale chuckles back to her. "You think it's
that easy? Like you said, Simona Lopez is already running those damn tests on
the paint chips. It's only a matter of time before figures out that I ran over
Dawn with my car." "I promise you, I won't say anything,"
Helen lets a tear fall down her cheek. "Just let me go, and you can do whatever
it is you have to do." Helen goes to walk past him but Dale grabs
her arm. "I told you, you're not leaving me!" he says as she spins around
and slaps him across the face. "Let me go!" she screams at him.
The slap causes Dale to stumble backwards, so Helen uses the opportunity to rush
towards the front door of the house as she is desperate to get away from her fiancé.
She manages to open the front door of the house and she rushes into the pouring
rain. She opens her purse and tries to find her keys, but she ends up dropping
them on the ground. "Oh my God, I have to get out of here,"
she cries as she bends down to grab her keys, just as another bolt of lightning
flashes across the sky. When she stands up, Dale is behind her. He raises his
arms and smashes as vase over Helen's head. The crash causes Helen's body to crumble
to the cement while the rain starts to pour heavily on her. "I told
you," Dale whispers as more thunder booms behind him. "You're not going
anywhere." Next on One Day at a Time - Tara pulls her gun
on Kim! - Simona pays Adam a visit - Cory's will is read | |
